A fictional account, based on a real factory workers’ strike in 1912. What I really liked about this bo
ok is that the two main characters, who were children, acted like real children. They got scared, lonely, and confused. They told lies, missed their moms, felt guilty for things they had no control over, and tried to help their families as best as they could.
